FIRST FULLY VACCINATED STATE -  Himachal Pradesh has become the first state to fully vaccinate 100% of its adult population against covid-19 on December 4,2021.         As many as 53,86,393 eligible adult have been administrated the second dose.        Himachal Pradesh was also the first state to achieve the 100% first dose vacination of the adult population by the ending of August 2021.

NATIONAL HEALTH ACCOUNT ESTEMATE FOR INDIA FOR 2017-18.     Union health secretary Rajesh Bhushan realised finding of the national health account (NHA) estimate for India for 2017-18 on November 29,2021.     



         This is the fifth consecutive NHA report produced by national health system resource centres (NHSRC) designed as national health account technical secretariat (NHATS) in 2014 by the union health ministry.             The NHA estimate are prepared by using an accounting framework based on a internationally accepted system of health accounts SHA 2011, providing by the world health organisation WHO.             The 2017-18 NHA estimates not only show government expenditure of health exhibiting on an increasing trend but also growing trust in the public health care system.   With the present estimate of NHA 2017-18  India has a  continuous time series on NHA.  estimates for both government and private sources for five years since 2013-14.                         The NHA estimates for 2017-18 clearly show that there has been an increase in the share of government health expenditure in the total GDP of the country from 1.15% in 2013-14 to 1.35% in 2017-18
